We first began our collaboration as part of the same ceilidh band "Two Left Feet" in Dumfries and Galloway in 1997.
In between dances we chatted about ideas for sculpting and began creating large-scale sculpture and events as part of a performance event at Tramway, Glasgow in 1998 called "A Language of Others".

In the same year we worked together to create four giant figures commissioned by NVA as part of Britain's day of events at the Lisbon Expo.
Making giant things then became more of a regular thing, initially making a giant figure for Glasgow's milenium celebrations in Kelvingrove Park and then continuing to make the centre-piece sculpture for the Wickerman festival in Galloway, Archaeolink Centre in Aberdeenshire and for the Hogmanay celebrations in Edinburgh. There have been several other large-scale commissions along the way include "Painful Creatures" directed by Ian Smth of Mischeif LaBas and for the sequal film to The Wickerman from director Robin Hardy called "The Wicker Tree".

We continue to create big things together and look forward to hearing from you with your suggestions and opportunities. We can build the work on or off site and the work can be made to burn or for longer term display.
